Tampa Balloon Animal Expert? At Least When It Comes to Lions!

Friday, January 20th, 2012

While Face Painter Phyllis and I (Tony the Balloon Guy) were entertaining at a recent event, one of the young gentlemen there asked one of the young ladies about her holidays. Did she go home, he wanted to know.

She said yes, she had gone home.

“All the way home?” he asked.

Again, she said yes.

I asked, “Where is all the way home?”

She was from Kenya!

No wonder lions were her favorite animal! And she really liked this one:

lion

I guess it’s kind of like I make a lot of alligators out of balloons for people here in Florida!

Maybe if I still lived in Wisconsin (as I did when I was a kid), people would want hats made of cheese made of balloons – try to say that three times fast!

By the way, more than a thousand families like yours have invited our family business to celebrate birthdays with them. We are also a favorite at school, church, company and corporate events, including fairs, festivals, holiday parties and grand openings.

What can we do for YOU?

At special events throughout the Tampa Bay area and Central Florida, we provide:

So how do people get entertainment for parties and special events?

  • You can pay an agent, party/event planner, total entertainment company, or other middleman a commission on each entertainer they hire for you. Even if they refer to “our face painters” or “our balloon artists,” they are charging you to hire someone. Sometimes even the person answering the phone is getting a cut, and only being paid if you book the party or event! Of course, in this modern Internet Age, you could hire entertainers yourself and NOT pay commissions. Wouldn’t it be funny if a middleman hired US for you, when you could have booked us yourself without paying a commission? It happens!!!
  • You can spend time hiring entertainers yourself. By cutting out the middleman, you save the commissions. But you still pay full price for each entertainer if you’re hiring more than one, such as a balloon artist AND a face painter.
  • We can provide your event entertainment, and give you a DISCOUNT for combining entertainers. You save money because WE’RE the professional entertainers. And you can read our testimonials and/or see us in action at one of our weekly open-to-the-public appearances (click here for days, times and locations) to check out the quality of our entertainment!

Be sure to get our quote before you book entertainment for your event!

Tampa Balloon Artist/Twister Horsing Around Again… at Pony Parties!!!

Monday, January 16th, 2012

The Giants at Packers game started at 4:30pm. The pony party in Tampa also started at 4:30pm.

An hour at the birthday party, almost an hour to get home, and I had sacrificed two-thirds of a football game, just to make other people happy.

It’s like I’m some kind of hero or something.

:-)

It was a great birthday party – I really had fun. There were two bounce houses, and someone was wearing a Dora the Explorer costume. It was very much a city neighborhood (as opposed to where we live in Hernando County), and most of the kids had never ridden a pony or horse before. They LOVED it. And many, many photos were taken.

By the way, more than a thousand families like yours have invited our family business to celebrate birthdays with them. We are also a favorite at school, church, company and corporate events, including fairs, festivals, holiday parties and grand openings.

Tampa Balloon Artist Enjoys Mickey Mouse Business

Sunday, January 15th, 2012

When the birthday mom first contacted me (Tony the Balloon Guy) about me and Face Painter Phyllis entertaining at her son’s first birthday party, she asked if we could provide a Mickey Mouse character – someone dressed up as Mickey Mouse.

The only character we do is a princess, but Mom still wanted us to do balloons and faces for her.

It sure was a Mickey Mouse Party, though!

The birthday boy had a knit hat with big mouse ears, and the bounce house was more like a bounce PLAYGROUND, with all kinds of fun slides and obstacle course stuff for the kids to do – all themed with Mickey and his friends.

Usually I’ll make a birthday kid a huge hat out of balloons – something extravagant that is JUST for that child. Since this was a one-year-old, that wasn’t really an option, so I made a big, very detailed balloon Mickey Mouse holding a “Happy Birthday” balloon instead. Not for the one-year-old to play with, of course, but for the parents to enjoy, take pictures with, etc.

Face Painter Phyllis was such a hit at the party that even grown-ups were lining up to get all pretty!

M… I… C… See ya real soon!!! K… E… Y… Why? Because we LIKE you!

M-O-U-S-E!!!

Port Richey Balloon Artist Tony the Balloon Guy and Face Painter Phyllis Entertain Families from Land O Lakes, New Port Richey, Spring Hill, Lutz, Bayonet Point, Hudson, etc. at New Golden Corral

Tuesday, January 10th, 2012

Last night was my (Tony the Balloon Guy’s) and Face Painter Phyllis’ first Monday entertaining at the Golden Corral on US 19 in Port Richey, across from the mall.

It’s the same place the old Golden Corral was, but it has new ownership and has been completely remodeled. The general manager is the fellow who used to be the boss of the Golden Corral in Brooksville (where we still appear on Wednesday nights).

It was a great turnout last night, and we look forward to seeing West Pasco County folks every Monday, 5:30-7:30pm.

Cool Family Entertainment for Kids at the Shops at Wiregrass – Wesley Chapel Balloon Animals, Face Painting

Wednesday, January 4th, 2012

It was so COLD this morning that when we (Tony the Balloon Guy and Face Painter Phyllis) went out to drive to Wesley Chapel for our weekly appearance at the Shops at Wiregrass, there was ice in our car’s radiator!

Families did show up for the event, though. It was so cold, the balloons were acting weird, and the magician told me afterward that his frozen fingers kept dropping things. Kids got their faces painted with no complaints, but I know that must have felt chilly!

Hopefully it will be warmer next Wednesday morning at 10am!

Please click on the activities above for information and pictures. Then pick one, or mix and match to create a package and SAVE MONEY!

Have a fun day!
