Usually when people see me (Tony the Balloon Guy) and/or Face Painter Phyllis and/or our pony or ponies at a party another event, some folks will ask about booking parties, grand openings, school or church events, etc.
Then this question often arises:
“How far in advance do you require people to book?”
I always give this answer:
“As soon as you know when your party or event is, that’s when you should contact us.”
For example, today is May 31, 2011. It could happen that you call today asking about a date in time in September, and that time is already booked.
On the other hand, someone e-mailed this morning to see if I am available for a pre-school graduation ice cream social TONIGHT at 8:15pm. Guess what? I will finish up another job at 7:30pm, and be able to get to this one on time.
So there is no set time in advance that we need if you want to book us. But the sooner you call or e-mail, the sooner we put YOU on the calendar so that no one else can get the date and time that you want.
But if you have something last minute, it doesn’t hurt to ask!
